Milly Johnson is a Sunday Times bestselling author of contemporary women’s fiction. She writes from the heart and always highlights the importance of community. Her novels champion women, their strength and resilience, and celebrate love, friendship and the possibility of second chances.

In 2018, EDPR was engaged by Simon & Schuster to work alongside their team to further build Milly’s brand profile and engage new readers. Our partnership continues  with our most recent campaign for her Christmas bestseller, Let the Bells Ring Out.

Milly is a proud Northerner – born and raised in Barnsley – and our brand focus plays to these strengths. With strategic and sustained placement of high-profile national media coverage including print interviews, features and broadcast, plus the curation of year-round events, Milly is now established as the fiction ‘Queen of the North’ and one of the Top 10 Female Fiction authors in the UK.

In 2020, Milly was honoured with the Romantic Novelists’ Association’s Outstanding Achievement Award, and was a featured author in The Reading Agency’s Quick Reads and World Book Night campaigns. She has celebrated multiple Top 5 Sunday Times bestsellers and is a regular speaker at sell-out events across the country, drawing devoted fans and new readers alike.
